Dr Hayley Waller - Breast and Endocrine Surgeon
Working out of Christchurch Surgical Associates, Dr Waller has a strong background in oncoplastics, endocrine and general surgery procedures. Hayley is big on strategy based healthcare and with her support team, can offer the best breast, endocrine and general surgery outcomes for you.
New Zealand Trained
I grew up from very humble beginnings in a small rural North Island town. For some strange reason, I always had a fascination about how the body worked and was always in awe of what an amazing piece of machinery it is!
I moved to Dunedin to start my medical degree, and never looked back! I graduated in 2006 and took up a medical officer position at Christchurch Hospital. During my speciality rotation, my interest was peaked while watching my surgical mentors operating with a mix of skill and art - a dance over skin if you will! I was spellbound and knew this was my calling. Since then I have held registrar positions in Tauranga, Hawkes Bay and Nelson just to name a few places.
My fellowship took me to the beautiful Emerald Isles of Ireland where I held a position of fellow at St Vincents Hospital, in County Dublin. Now, I call Christchurch, New Zealand my home, and hold a position as a General Surgeon Consultant at Christchurch public and have private rooms at Christchurch Surgical Associates.
